If your pup loves to hear the sound of an empty water bottle being squished, she will love this squeeze water bottle bunny toy. The soft thick lamb’s wool fabric quiets the sound down too.

YOUR PUPPY WILL LOVE THE CRINKLY SOUND AND CUTE LOOK OF THIS SQUEEZE BOTTLE BUNNY TOY! HERE IS WHAT WE USED TO MAKE IT:
- lambs wool fabric or cream colored flannel fabric
- pink, brown, and blue scrap pieces of felt
- jute rope for whiskers
- basic sewing supplies
Squeeze Bottle Bunny Dog Toy – Step 1
First cut a piece of fabric 15.5″ long x 12″ wide.

Fold the fabric in half and cut a “V” about 4″ down the top as shown. These will be the bunny’s ears.

Open up the bunny. We are going to sew a face onto one side which will be the front of the bunny. Cut eyes and ears from felt scraps.

Next zig-zag appliqué the bunny’s ears and eyes on. Make sure you do not sew them too close to the edge of the fabric. You need to leave room for a seam allowance.

Then take 2 pieces of thin jute rope and tie a tight knot in the middle as shown.

Cut a nose for the bunny from brown felt and place over top of the whiskers. Zig-zag over top of the nose. Make sure you back-tack plenty of times to hold on the nose and the whiskers.

Tape the whiskers to the center of the nose so they are out of the way when you sew the bunny together.

Place the bunny pretty sides together and pin around the bunny top and side. Leave the bottom alone. That is where we are going to put the empty water bottle.

Sew around the bunny using the pressure foot as your guideline. Trim seams if necessary.
Squeeze Bottle Bunny Dog Toy – Step 10
Turn your bunny pretty side out. Carefully poke out the ears. Remove the tape holding the whiskers down. Stuff the head and ears of the bunny. Squish the bottle a tiny bit and then put a lid on the empty bottle. Place the bottle inside the bunny craft. You can add more stuffing if there is room.

Hand sew the bottom opening closed nice and tight. You may want to sew this twice for extra strength since your pup will be playing with the toy.
