Decorate your home for fall with this rustic bouquet made from fabric. One of the things I love about this decoration is the fact that I can put the bouquet out for Halloween and keep it out all throughout the autumn season! The best part of making these flowers is you get to pick out the fabric so you can pick fabrics that fit your style best. If you want to go with a Halloween feel then you could pick out black and orange fabric. You don’t even have to make your flowers rustic you could pick out more elegant fabric for your flowers. The final product of your bouquet is really up to you and that is one of the things that I love most about making DIY’s.

- Different fabric (I used four different fabrics)

Rustic Autumn Fabric Flowers – Step 1
The first thing you are going to do is pin and cut out your petals. There is a free petal pattern if you would like to used it. You will need to cut out 10 petals for each flower. Depending on how full you want your flowers you might need more or less petals. Same thing goes for the number of flowers you want in your bouquet. I had 7 flowers two for each of my fabrics expect for one.
Rustic Autumn Fabric Flowers – Step 2
Once you have cut out your petals you are going to line them up overlapping the bottoms slightly (shown above). Pin the bottoms together so that they won’t move when you sew across the bottom pressure foot edge. After you have sewn across the bottom of your first flower you will repeat that process until all of your flower petals are sewn together at the bottom.
Rustic Autumn Fabric Flowers – Step 3
Next you are going to take the sticks that you have collected and hot glue them to the bottom corner of your flower petals. Then glue across the bottom and roll your stick as you go. Since hot glue dries fast it might help to do the gluing in sections. Glue a little, then roll and repeat until you have wrapped your petals all the way around your stick. Repeat this step for all of your flowers.
Rustic Autumn Fabric Flowers – Step 4
Finally arrange your flowers together and tie a piece of raffia around them to create your bouquet.
You are now finished and have a lovely Rustic Fall Fabric Bouquet!
