GET YOUR HOME READY FOR FALL WITH THIS HARVEST FABRIC COUNTRY CANDLE RING! HERE IS WHAT YOU WILL NEED TO MAKE IT:
- 1/2″ elastic
- 1-20″x5″ piece of autumn fabric
- basic sewing supplies
Harvest Fabric Country Candle Ring – Step 1
Start by cutting a piece of fabric 20″X5″. Then fold and pin over the long side of your fabric about 1″ leaving enough room for your elastic to go through. Make sure you are folding it to the ugly side or side you don’t want to see. Then stitch across creating a casing for your elastic to go through later.
Harvest Fabric Country Candle Ring – Step 2
Next you are going to pin the opposite long side down 1/4″ and then 1/4″ again. This is going to be your hem of your candle ring. Stitch your hem.
Harvest Fabric Country Candle Ring – Step 3
After your hem you are going measure and cut a piece of elastic that is 11″ long. Thread the elastic through your casing using a safety pin to push it through.
Harvest Fabric Country Candle Ring – Step 4
As the end of the elastic gets near make sure you pin it, as shown in the photo, so that the elastic doesn’t fall through to the other end. Sew the elastic where you pinned it as shown in the photo. Now push the safety pin all the way through to the other end and then stitch the elastic at that end also to hold it in place.

The last thing you are going to do is pin and sew the side seam of your candle ring pretty side together at pressure foot edge.
Turn your candle ring pretty sides out and you are done! You can now go and decorate all of your candles with Harvest Fabric Country Candle Rings for Autumn.
