Gather supplies like ribbon, lace, and buttons to embellish these easy to sew heart pillows. Then place them in a basket for a pretty Valentine’s day decoration. You can even give it as a gift that tells your loved ones how much you care about them!

SHOW HOW MUCH LOVE YOU HAVE WITH THIS HEARTS BASKET! HERE IS WHAT WE USED TO MAKE IT:
- pink, red, and cream cotton Valentine fabric
- stuffing or fiberfill
- embellishments like buttons, lace, ribbon, pearls, and flowers
- basket to put heart pillows in
- basic sewing supplies

Bundle of Love – Step 1
First cut out your hearts pattern you can make your own or use our free hearts pattern. Pin and cut out two heart pieces for each heart pillow you want to make. (I made 7 heart pillows to go in my basket.)
Bundle of Love – Step 2
Then pin the heart pieces right sides (or pretty sides) together. Leave about a 3.5″ opening on the side as shown in the photo where the lines are drawn on the fabric heart. Sew straight stitch around the heart using the pressure foot as your guide. Remember; do not sew at the opening.

Next trim seams if need be and turn heart pretty side out. Stuff the heart with craft fiberfill.

Once your heart is stuffed hand sew the opening closed.

Now the fun part! Hand sew pretty embellishments like buttons, lace, rick-rack, ribbon, pearls, and little silk flowers on the heart pillows!

Finally stick all of your hearts into your basket and your done!
You now have an adorable basket of hearts Valentine’s Day decoration to put in your home!
