How To Make A Tea-Stained Vintage Button Heart Pillow

THIS CHARMING BUTTON PILLOW WILL LOOK GREAT IN YOUR HOME THIS VALENTINE’S DAY! HERE IS WHAT WE USED TO MAKE IT:

tea-stained pink Valentine fabric
red buttons
craft stuffing or fiberfill
basic sewing supplies

Button Heart Pillow – Step 1

First you will need a heart pattern. Draw yourself a heart any size you want. Mine was about 7″X6″. You can use my free button heart pattern if you want to. You are going to want to pin and cut out 2 hearts.

Button Heart Pillow – Step 2

Next you want to place the two fabric hearts pretty sides together and pin around the outer edge. You will need to leave a 3″ opening for stuffing. Place double pins where you want to start and stop to remind you not to sew there. Then stitch around your heart pressure foot edge making sure to leave your opening.

Button Heart Pillow – Step 3

Now you are going to turn heart pretty side out and stuff it with fiberfill. Move and adjust the stuffing so your heart looks evenly stuffed. After your heart is stuffed to your liking, hand stitch the opening closed.
