This Button Snowman Ornament or Pillow craft is the perfect sewing project for you to do this Christmas! Not only can you make this adorable pillow or ornament for your home but you can also make it as a gift your your loved ones this holiday season! This sewing project is so simple and easy to make that anyone you give it to is going to love it! Additionally I rubbed some cinnamon onto mine to give it that holiday smell.

THIS BUTTON SNOWMAN ORNAMENT OR PILLOW IS ABSOLUTELY ADORABLE! HERE IS WHAT YOU WILL NEED TO MAKE IT:
- 3 white buttons
- two 4″x5″ pieces of winter snowflake fabric
- thin rope or ribbon for handle
- small sticks from a branch
- stuffing or fiberfill
- basic sewing supplies
Button Snowman Ornament or Pillow – Step 1
To start if you have pinking shears cut the edges of your fabric to keep them from fraying and give them a finished look.
Button Snowman Ornament or Pillow – Step 2
Next you are going to sew your three white buttons to the middle of one of your pieces of fabric. Then either glue a tiny piece of orange felt on for the nose, or use an orange permanent marker to draw the snowman nose. Hot glue twigs in place for your snowman’s arms.

If you are making your button snowman into an ornament then you are going to skip this step. If you are making it into an ornament then the next thing you are going to do is place a ribbon for the handle sandwiched in-between the craft at the top.

Now you are going to pin and sew around three of your snowman craft’s edges pressure foot edge. Making sure to leave one side open. Go ahead and stuff your button snowman with fiberfill or craft stuffing.

The last thing you are going to do is sew closed the edge you let open. If you want to you can rub some cinnamon stick onto your snowman craft to give it a Christmas scent!
Your Button Snowman Ornament or Pillow is now done and ready to be displayed this holiday season!
