How to Knit a Valentine Heart Lapel Pin

This knitting project is really quick to knit and makes a great little gift for those you love on Valentine’s day.

YOU WILL LOVE MAKING THIS EASY HEART PIN! HERE IS WHAT WE USED TO MAKE IT:

• pink and red yarn
• medium to small size knitting needles

Heart Lapel Pin – Step 1

Start by casting on 8 stitches.

Next knit 12 rows.

Now you are going to cast off.

Using an embroidery needle or a knitting needle stitch a heart in the center of the square using the red yarn. Start off by stitching the outline of the heart and then fill the inside of the heart with small stitches.

Finally place a safety pin on the back of your pin to attach to where you would like it displayed. Your sweet knitted heart lapel pin is done!
