Heart Doily – Step 1
Start by cutting out two heart shapes from quilt batting. Feel free to use our free Heart Doily Pattern!
Heart Doily – Step 2
Next pin and sew around your heart doily using the pressure foot as your guide. Make sure to leave an opening to turn your heart later (I marked mine with double pins).
Heart Doily – Step 3
Now trim your seams making sure not to cut into your stitching. Then turn your heart doily pretty sides out. After that press your heart nice and flat.
Heart Doily – Step 4
Finally hand sew your opening closed.
You now have the perfect primitive heart doily to display anywhere and the best part is you made it entirely out of PAINTERS CLOTH!
