Get your home ready for a celebration of America with this Patriotic Banner! These red, white, and blue fabric pennants will look great for Memorial Day, Labor Day, and the 4th of July. I love hanging my banner out while the family and I have a backyard party grilling and hanging out.

- red, white, and blue fabric
- tan double fold bias tape
- basic sewing supplies

Patriotic Banner – Step 1
Start by cutting and pinning out your triangles for your banner. You need two pieces for each triangle. Feel free to use our free flag banner pattern! Depending on how long you want you banner make enough red, white, and blue triangles. I made two red and blue triangles and one white.
Patriotic Banner – Step 2
Next you are going to put the two pieces of your triangles pretty sides together. Pin around all of your triangles making sure to leave an opening at the top. Sew pressure foot edge around your triangles pivoting at the point of the triangles.
Patriotic Banner – Step 3
Now pin all of your triangles onto a piece of double fold bias tape leaving about an inch between each flag and about 12 inches at the ends. Finally sew all the way across the bottom edge of your bias tape so that you secure the flags on. You can add loops to the end of your banner if you want or you can leave the ends the way they are.
Your Patriotic Banner is now finished and ready to be hung up to celebrate America!
