Shamrock Pillow – Step 1
Start by pinning and cutting out one four leaf clover from green fabric. Feel free to use our free four leaf clover pattern!
Shamrock Pillow – Step 2
Next you are going to pin your shamrock to one of your black rectangles and zip zag stitch around the edge.
Shamrock Pillow – Step 3 (Optional)
If you are making a pillow with a paw print appliqué as well you are now going to pin and cut out your paw print from a different shade of green fabric from your shamrock. Feel free to use our free paw print pattern! After that you are going to pin and zig zag stitch your paw print to the middle of your shamrock.
Shamrock Pillow – Step 4
Put your two black rectangles pretty sides together and pin around the edge. Make sure to leave a two inch opening at the bottom to turn your pillow later. Sew around at the pressure foot edge.
Shamrock Pillow – Step 5
Now trim and clip the edges of your pillow, making sure not to cut into the stitching. Turn your pillow pretty sides out. Then you are going to go ahead and stuff your pillow.
Shamrock Pillow – Step 6
Finally hand sew the opening closed!
You now have the perfect lucky pillow for this St.Patrick’s Day!
