It is a time of love and what better way to tell the people whooooo you love how much with this Valentine’s Day Owl Pillow.

THIS LOVE OWL LOOKS PERFECT FOR VALENTINE’S DAY ANYWHERE! HERE IS WHAT WE USED TO MAKE IT:
- small and large plate to make the pattern
- about 1/3 yard of fabric for the owl front and back body
- scraps of red and pink fabric for wings, eyes, and nose
- crafting stuffing or fiberfill
- basic sewing supplies

Love Owl Pillow – Step 1
Start by cutting out your owl pattern you can make your own owl pattern or you can use our free Love Owl Pillow Pattern.
Love Owl Pillow – Step 2
Now that you have your pattern, you can begin cutting out your pieces.
You will need: |
2 owl bodies |
2 wings |
2 feet |
2 outer eyes, and 2 center eyes |
1 nose |
1 heart |
Love Owl Pillow – Step 3
Once your pieces are cut out, pin them to the pretty side of ONE of the owl body pieces.

Then zigzag stitch the wings, eyes, and feet on first. Either use a heat bond for the smaller pieces like the eye center, heart, and nose, or zigzag them on after.

Now place your owl bodies pretty sides together and pin around the outer edge. Stitch around the owl using the pressure foot as your guide. Make sure to leave a 4″ opening for turning later.

Lastly, trim seams, turn owl pretty side out. Stuff the owl with fiber-fill or stuffing and hand stitch the opening closed.
Your owl pillow is now finished and ready to spread some LOVE!
