About This Project:
You decide…, a lined shoulder bag, or a large tote bag! Have fun with your friends and Learn to Sew while making a bag. The shoulder bag can be used as a purse to carry your goodies in. The large tote can be used to put your goodies in for a sleep over, a day trip to the beach, or just a bag to put more items in! In this 3 hour workshop each guests will be able to design and make either a lined shoulder bag or a large tote bag! First there will be a short lesson learning the basics of the sewing machine. Then guests will design, stitch, and embellish their lined bags picking out their own fabric for the bag, the lining, and choosing their own ribbon for the strap/handle.

We provide the fabric, all the supplies, and lots of encouragement. Bring your favorite snack and drink and learn to sew. At the end of the party you’ll have a wonderful bag or tote that you designed, created, and sewed. No worries if you have never sewn before, we guide you from the very first stitch to the last! We love novices. Our instructors will guide you through each stitch of learning to sew and creating your bag. In addition to learning to sew, and bringing home a fabulous bag you created, each student will also receive a sewing award ribbon.

A minimum of 5 guests are required for a Private Sewing Party, and we can host up to 8 guests for a max.
Just like the popular Paint Parties, you can host your own Sewing Party! Gather some friends, pick a project, bring some snacks and drinks, and have some fun learning how to sew! Whether it’s a girls night out, birthday party, church group, home school event, or just a time that you want to get together with your friends and family, we’ll make it creative and special. What you sew is up to you! You can choose from our selection of sewing projects. We have the sewing machines, fabric, and all the supplies, so you can just concentrate on creating and making a project, assisted by our instructors, while having fun with your friends.
You and your guests will have the studio 15 minutes before and 15 minutes after the class for check in, eating, drinking, and mingling. If needed you can purchase more time for $30.00 per half hour.
Call us ahead of time to set up your event! One week advanced booking is required. You must guarantee a minimum of 5 people to book a private party.
A credit card guarantee and/or deposit is required to hold your party reservation. We require at least a 10 day advanced notice if you should need to cancel. If you fail to give us at least a 10 days notice from your scheduled date, you will be charged a cancellation fee in the amount of $150.00. No Shows the day of the booked private party will be charged for 5 seats (the minimum required for a private party) at the price of the class length selected, $45. for a 3 hour class.

PAYMENT POLICY: Payment is due at the time of the reservation to guarantee your seat. If you choose not to pay online, please call our studio to make payment by phone 610-563-8633 or call to set up a visit to our studio in person for payment.
REFUND/CANCELLATION POLICY: No credit or refund will be issued. A 72 hour cancellation notice is required for group reservations . “No shows” will not be issued a refund. If you are late to the class you may not be allowed to sew and your payment will be forfeited.
Love to Sew Studio reserves the right to cancel classes for unforeseen circumstances or fewer than 5 reservations. Registrants will be notified at least 24 hours prior to class time and refunds will be processed.
