I love adding greenery here and there in each room of my home. It’s an easy way to bring the outside, inside, and to give your home a natural and organic look. Here is a simple and easy way to bring some greenery into your home this spring or summer! This cheerful DIY greenery wreath project is made of faux boxwood or any other greenery you would like to use, wrapped on a grapevine wreath. It will be the perfect compliment to your Farmhouse décor, cottage decor, or shabby chic decor. It looks alive and natural and will bring the outdoors into your favorite room wherever you hang it. Hang it on a door, a wall, a mirror, or center it on a distressed wood or metal wall plaque.
You Will Need:
- a grapevine wreath of the size you would like (a 12″ grapevine wreath was used for this project)
- artificial greenery
- floral wire
- multi purpose leather man or some type of wire cutters
Gather your supplies. Cut five or size 12″ strips of the floral wire.
Place 2 or 3 stems of the greenery onto the front of the wreath and secure them with the floral wire. Place the wire on top of the stems on the front of the wreath and wrap the wire to the back of the wreath. Twist the wire in the back until firm and tight.
Continue this process around the wreath until you have the fullness of the greenery that you would like. If any stems are sticking out too far either use more floral wire or tuck the ends under other stems. Using a piece of wire make a hanger for your wreath. Your new peaceful and cheerful wreath will look perfect in any room.
