Put double pins at the bottom as shown 3&Prime; apart. These pins indicate to not sew in-between them. That is where you will stuff the owl. Once you have pinned you are going to sew around your owl pressure foot edge. You can use a straight stitch or a decorative stitch if your machine has that option.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Felt Owl Ornament &ndash; Step 3<\/h2>\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\">\n<figure class=\"aligncenter size-full\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.lovetosewstudio.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/12\/woodsyowl4-rotated-e1639335955590.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"300\" height=\"277\" src=\"https:\/\/www.lovetosewstudio.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/12\/woodsyowl4-rotated-e1639335955590.jpg\" alt=\"pin down the beak of your owl\" class=\"wp-image-11310\" data-pin-media=\"https:\/\/www.lovetosewstudio.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/12\/woodsyowl4-rotated-e1639335955590.jpg\"><\/a><\/figure><\/div>\n\n\n<p>Then fold the top of the owl down and pin in place as shown. Stitch the &ldquo;V&rdquo; area of the owl. (This will be the face.)<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Felt Owl Ornament &ndash; Step 4<\/h2>\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\">\n<figure class=\"aligncenter size-full\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.lovetosewstudio.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/12\/woodsyowl5.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"300\" height=\"264\" src=\"https:\/\/www.lovetosewstudio.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/12\/woodsyowl5.jpg\" alt=\"stuff the owl and sew the bottom close\" class=\"wp-image-11311\" data-pin-media=\"https:\/\/www.lovetosewstudio.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/12\/woodsyowl5.jpg\"><\/a><\/figure><\/div>\n\n\n<p>Now what you are going to do is stuff your owl and sew the bottom closed using the same stitch as you did before.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Felt Owl Ornament &ndash; Step 5<\/h2>\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\">\n<figure class=\"aligncenter size-full\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.lovetosewstudio.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/12\/woodsyowl6.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"300\" height=\"281\" src=\"https:\/\/www.lovetosewstudio.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/12\/woodsyowl6.jpg\" alt=\"Add on eyes and greenery to your felt owl\" class=\"wp-image-11312\" data-pin-media=\"https:\/\/www.lovetosewstudio.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/12\/woodsyowl6.jpg\"><\/a><\/figure><\/div>\n\n\n<p>Finally, hand sew the button eyes on. Hot glue moss, sticks, or greenery to complete your woodsy owl ornament.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Add a ribbon or a hook to your owl and it is now finished!
